Technical Committee Chair
The Technical Committee, headed by Amit Kothari, received a total of 14 responses to the Request for Proposal (RFP) inviting student chapters to collect vehicle speed and parking data for under-represented land uses. Five proposals were selected by the Technical Committee. Upon completion of the data collection, analysis, and final report, the winning student chapters will receive $1,000 each in scholarships.
Through this process, these students will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience that will help them in their professional careers, as well as receive funds for their chapter activities. The Student Chapters selected are:
- Arizona State University,
- Brigham Young University,
- Montana State University, Bozeman
- University of California, Berkeley
- University of Washington
