Public Relations Chair

The Public Relations Committee is in full swing, with the issuance of a series of press releases and announcements, including Jonathan Upchurch receiving the District’s Lifetime Achievement Award. We are looking for a few people to assist with one of two functions:

• Regularly contacting a few sections, chapters and committees to find appropriate items to announce outside of ITE, or
• Determining appropriate media and groups/entities outside of ITE for items and issuing press releases and announcements to them.

Neither function will require a significant time commitment, and you would play a key role in helping the general public understand the important role that ITE plays in shaping transportation systems.
