The Western District wrapped up our technical events for the year with our annual fall webinar series, which highlights award-winning projects that were featured in the Western District’s Transportation Project of the Year nominations. This webinar series continues to supplement on-going ITE Section meeting activities and provides additional technical content for members throughout the Western District. This year’s webinars highlighted real-life case studies in Washington, Oregon, and California focused on complete streets, operations, safety, planning, and traffic engineering. For those who were not able to attend, copies of the presentations and video recordings are available on the webinar page.

As you start preparing for the holiday season, please don’t forgot to submit your abstracts for the Western District Annual Meeting by December 22, 2023. And please save the dates for our Western District Student Leadership Summit to be held February 2^nd-4^th in San Luis Obispo and the Western District Annual Meeting to be held June 23^rd-26^th in Sacramento.
