Pineapples on pizza, first-job experiences, and post-COVID travel plans—These are just some of the topics of conversations at this years’ First Time Attendee/Young Member Ice Cream Social.  This inaugural event was part of the Career Guidance Track at the Western District Annual Meeting at Palm Springs.  In addition to the varied selection of ice cream treats and sodas provided to ease the 100+degree desert heat, attendees to the event had the opportunity to meet our current ITE leadership, and network with other attendees while scrambling to form groups with others based on similar outfit colors or favorite ice cream flavors and sharing their thoughts on provided prompts in roundtable discussions.  Special thanks to ITE International President Beverly Kuhn and Vice President Rosana Correa, our Western District Officers President Joe de la Garza, Vice-President Kimberly Leung, and International Directors Mark Spencer and Neelam Dorman, along with our District committee chairs for attending.  Participants to the event reported high levels of fun and we can’t wait to do it again!
