In Spring 2026, the Western District introduced an annual regional travel scholarship for students to attend the Student Leadership Summit (SLS). The Western District aims to achieve more regional diversity in the students attending SLS by providing travel assistance to students who may not otherwise attend.

The Student Regional Travel Scholarships provide financial support for up to two (2) students to attend the upcoming ITE Western District Annual Meeting. The District will select one student from each region (Region 1 and Region 2), and the recipient from each region receives a $500 travel scholarship.
