Air Travel
Flying to San Francisco is easy with several airlines to choose from. Many airlines serve one or both of the international airports of Oak­land and San Francisco from all around the District. BART provides rail service to both airports and takes only 35 minutes to whisk you from either airport to just footsteps from the Palace Hotel. More infor­mation is available at www.bart.gov.

BART Trains from Airports to San Francisco
At the Oakland International Airport, catch the AirBART bus shuttle outside the terminals and take it to the Coliseum BART Station for $3. Take any San Francisco bound train to the Montgomery BART Station. The approximate fare is $7. Upon exiting the BART train, exit towards New Montgomery Street at the southwest corner of the station, use the escalators furthest to your right (west end of the station). When you get up to Market Street, the Palace Hotel will be on your left.

At the San Francisco International Airport, go to the BART Station lo­cated in the International Terminal and take any San Francisco bound train to the Montgomery BART station. The approximate fare is $8. Upon exiting the BART train, exit towards New Montgomery Street at the southwest corner of the station, use the escalators farthest to your left (west end of the station). When you get up to Market Street, the Palace Hotel will be on your left.

Shuttle and taxi service are also available at both airports.

Rental Cars
A rental car is not needed for the Annual Meeting. If you want to rent a car for an out-of-town excursion or to cruise the Pacific Coast Highway, take advantage of special ITE rates:
