Thank you to all of the teams that participated in the MiteY Race at the recent Joint Western & Midwestern Districts Annual Meeting in Rapid City, SD!  We kicked off the meeting on Saturday, June 28th, with the 4^th installment of the race with 9 family/friends and 10 student teams completing fun, but challenging tasks in Downtown Rapid City.

The top family & friends teams were:

• 1^stPlace:  Haulin’ Aspelins – Karen, Erik, Klara, and Neil from the Western District
• 2^nd Place:  Mighty NCITErs – Kristi & Claire Sebastian, Steve Manhart, and Tom Campbell from the Midwestern District
• 3^rdPlace:  MiteY Minions – Mark and Alex Spencer from the Western District

The top student teams were:

• 1^st Place:  J&N Associates – Nicolle Spann and Johnny Truong from Cal Poly Pomona
• 2^nd Place:  Bruins AlmITEy – Casey Le and Daniel Kim from UCLA
• 3^rd Place:  Cowboy Joes – Jaime Hepner and Dick Apronti from the University of Wyoming

All of the teams that finished the race were eligible for our Grand Prize drawing of 2 Roku 3 streaming media players.  The Grand Prize winners were the Pistol Petes student team from the University of Wyoming.
